Quotes

I saw these quotes last night while stumbling around, and I thought they were worthy ofSSelling to people who actually want to hear from you is more effective than interrupting strangers who don't. Seth Godin Take away my people, but leave my factories, and soon grass will grow on the factory floors. Take away my factories, but leave my people, and soon we will have a new and belling to people who actually want to hear from you is more effective than interrupting strangers who don't. Seth Godin Take away my people, but leave my factories, and soon grass will grow on the factory floors. Take away my factories, but leave my people, and soon we will have a new and b mention. Most are quite cliche, but I liked them anyways.

They are from World of Inspiration, and theres a lot of good ones, so it might be worth visiting.

These remind me of Skynyrd's song "Simple Man."
Simplicity is the outward sign and symbol of depth of thought.
-Lin Yutang

Very often, people confuse simple with simplistic. The nuance is lost on most.
Clement Mok

Here's some other random quotes:

A Word About the Profile Picture

Sorry to disappoint the ladies, but no, that is not actually a picture of me. There are many reasons for not putting my own picture on this blog, any idiot could probably name about 10 so I won't go into all the reasons. I will say this though, It doesn't matter who I am, or who anybody is really. Especially with the blog. It's just a random collection of thoughts and events, which any human being could have. Identity is totally irrelevant to ideas and events, at least the ones which I will mention.

But why this photo? The main reason: I like it.
I like it because it shows the good old fashioned hard working American attitude. It makes me want to earn my living, to really earn every penny I get. When I'm old and crusty, I want to be able to recall how I worked hard for everything I have, and be proud of the life I've lead.

The Outlook

I have a good friend who has influenced me quite a bit in the past few years. He's a thinker, a true philosopher really, and he keeps telling me I need to start thinking about things. He thinks about everything, and then some. I really would like to think like he does, think about everything, anything. I'd love to be able to think and analyze things like he does, to truly understand things, and I'm hoping that this blog will help me change in that way. Maybe if I have a place to write my thoughts down, I'll be able to start thinking...It's an honest attempt at the very least.
